List the disadvantages of nesting type locator

Some notable disadvantages or drawbacks of nesting or cavity type locator are as follows: Ø 1.  Since the work piece is completely surrounded,it is difficult to lift it out from the nest. Ø 2.  The operation performed may produce burrs,chips, dirt on the work piece which tends to lock it intothe nest. Ø 3.  Ejecting device is necessary. Ø 4. Additional time is required during operation. Ø 5.  It takes higher cost for making nest.

Machine tool represents a machine itself such as lathe machine,drill machine and cutting tool is a component of machine. Leaf jig is distinguished by its hinged cover,or leaf,which is swing open to load or unload the jig as shown in the following figure.After the workpiece has been located inside the jig,the leaf is firmly closed and locked.
